Three!

My first baby turned three years old yesterday! He is getting so big…I just want to freeze him. I’m trying to soak in all the things I love about this fun age.

In honor of James, here is a list of some of the things I love about him right now:
He is getting more and more [...]

As Promised…

I said that I would post soon…not so soon, but at least I’m doing it.
Here are some pictures and updates of our lives over the last couple of months:
Cash at 2 1/2 weeks. Andrew’s sister Jeni took these and did an amazing job…as always.

To keep James entertained, my parents brought over a couple of growing [...]

Good news!

Last week Cash had a blood test that showed almost all normal levels! He has two that are still abnormal and we’ll have to go back in a couple of weeks for one last round (we hope) of testing, but the potassium is normal now and that was our biggest concern. We are so relieved [...]

Tests…and More Tests

We have loved our first 5 1/2 weeks with our sweet baby Cash…even though we’ve had some difficult news. We have had some expected (kind of) and unexpected things happen regarding his health. He, like James, was diagnosed four days after birth with MCAD deficiency (to learn more about that go here), which means we [...]

Cash William

From the beginning of my pregnancy Andrew has joked about how I would have my baby on the freeway on our way to the hospital because I was going to deliver at Utah Valley (because I didn’t want to change doctors), and we now live in South Jordan. Of course the thought terrified me but [...]

Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

That’s what little boys are made of.
Or in this case, monkey tails… Sometime last month James became obsessed with Andrew’s belt. One morning I woke up and James was trying desperately to tear Andrew’s belt away from him. Andrew was trying to put it on so he could go to work, but James was using [...]

Getting Closer

(20 weeks)

And getting bigger…

(25 1/2 weeks)
And bigger…

(just over 29 weeks)

And BIGGER!

(33 1/2 weeks)

The countdown is on! Just 5 1/2 weeks to go!!! We went to my 33-week check-up on Monday and the doctor asked us if we wanted to schedule and induction or wait for the baby to come on his own. Hmmm…Not much to [...]

Celebrations!

Andrew and I were finally able to officially celebrate our five-year anniversary. We seem to frequently celebrate it in February because December is just a crazy month. We went down to Las Vegas a week and a half ago and spent two nights there. It was a little stressful to leave James because I didn’t [...]

Potty Talk

This past week we’ve been spending a lot of time in here…

Reading a lot of these…

James has had a lot of naked time…

And he’s learning to do this!

So far so good! He’s only had a few accidents since he began a week ago (besides naps and nights when he’s in a diaper). I’m so proud [...]

Baby in 3D

He kept his arms in front of his face like this, and when we tried to get him to move, he flipped over completely.

So we got this shot. Still cute though.
And I’m measuring a week ahead! I measured small with James and he still came early. We may have an April baby (fingers crossed!).
