Dancing James!

So, I’m a little late, but we did a little photo shoot with James when he was 16 months old (two months ago). It didn’t work out so well. James has so much energy! He just wanted to run the entire time…run away from us, that is. It was pretty funny. Andrew was getting a little frustrated. He wanted James to sit on the grass and play in the fall leaves (in a perfect world, right?). I thought it was fun to get James being his crazy self. We were able to get James doing one of his favorite things though: dancing!

James never misses an opportunity to dance. I was taking him to see the doctor a couple of months ago because he was sick, and even though he looked awful, when I turned some music on, he couldn’t resist the urge to bob his head to the beat. I looked in the rear-view mirror to see him bobbing the best he could with how sick he felt. It sure made me laugh!

And for those of you who care, I didn’t forget about Christmas…pictures are soon to come!

Four Years…

Four years ago today Andrew and I were married (awe…). It has been such a fun four years! We’ve come a long way. I only had three semesters of college behind me when we were married, and I’m finally getting my degree this month. Andrew only had two or three semesters behind him and is now only one semester away from finishing. We also have a darling little boy and we couldn’t love him more! We knew it would be a long (and sometimes hard) road when we started, but it has been worth every minute.

I can’t imagine anyone more perfect for me than Andrew. I like to make fun of his nerdiness (warcraft, chess, star trek, his fanny-pack–oh yes), but it’s one of the things I love most about him. He also makes me laugh–really makes me laugh at myself; and I just love those dimples!

Happy Anniversary!

And we’re still in love… (ewe gross, PDA!) The great part about this picture is that I didn’t even see it coming… he just leaned in and smacked one on me! Quite the romantic ;) .

Andrew would probably be embarrassed if he knew I was doing this. Actually, he’s not easily embarrassed–as you can tell from those itty bitty, hot-pink shorts he’s wearing :) . I just had to share some of my favorite pictures of him growing up.  He’s just too cute. Happy 26th Honey!
